There are a lot of things to do in Tribeca. We realize that some people don’t have a lot of time to see the whole neighborhood. With that being said, we have compiled our TOP 5 things to do in Tribeca so you know exactly where to go:

  • Tribeca Grill– Co-Owned by actor Robert De Niro, this restaurant has been open since 1990. Their menu, even though is pricey, is perfectly executed. (Address:375 Greenwich St, Subway 1 2 Franklin Street and A C E Canal Street)
  • Grand Banks –This is for the seafood lovers, especially shellfish. This oyster bar is located on a historic fishing boat. It’s great during warm weather and serves amazing drinks as well. (Address: Pier 25, Hudson River Park, Subway 1 2 Franklin Street and A C E Canal Street)
  • Tribeca Film Festival (Seasonal)– If you’re in NYC in June, make sure to come to Tribeca and check out the Tribeca Film Festival. Celebrities from different industries come here to check out submissions from some of the best coming out of the film industry. (Address varies depending on location)
  • Nancy Whiskey Pub –Tribeca can be pretty expensive. So, if you’re looking for a low-key night, make sure to check out this pub. they offer cheap drinks, bar food and a great time. (Address:1 Lispenard St, New York, NY 10013, SubwayA C E Canal Street)

How to Get to Tribeca

  • Subway: There are numerous subway stations in the district so getting to Tribeca is pretty easy. You can take the 1 train to Canal Street, Franklin Street, or Chambers Street. You can also take the ACE lines up to Canal Street. Another option is taking the 6 trainto Canal Street.
  • Hop on Hop Off Bus: Stop 9 of the downtown loop of BIG BUS or stop 9 of the downtown loop of Gray Line Sightseeing. Here you find more about Hop on Hop off in NYC.

In short: Small miracles – more really doesn’t fit in the elevator. A view through the window is possible at any time of the day or night – but this museum is only open on Saturdays and Sundays from 12 to 6 pm.

    They all come to the Tribeca Film Festival, the big names in the film industry. In addition to various awards, film premieres and short film presentations, every year there is also a show program worth seeing with music and after-show parties.

    Even if the name suggests otherwise: the Brandy Library has a huge selection of even very rare whiskeys in its program, which will make the heart of every whiskey fan beat faster. More than 1,000 bottles are used as decoration, especially in the evening it looks like a library of high-proof drinks. What we found very exciting are their events where you can learn more about Bourbons, Cognacs etc.Conclusion: Super-atmospheric and a real highlight!

    The skyscraper “56 Leonard” is probably one of the most striking buildings in New York. New Yorkers call it only Jenga Building, because it looks like the oversized version of the popular game. You can’t go inside the 60-story building, but it’s a really nice photo op. Afterwards, go to the 2 Hands Café across the street, it’s one of my favorite cafes in Tribeca!

    The Tribeca Grill is the perfect place for a special dinner, lunch or brunch. The restaurant is the address for good wine and very good food. The service is great and the reputation of Robert De Niro’s restaurant is hard to beat. Accordingly it is not exactly cheap, but worth every cent. Reserve a table in advance in any case. No matter when – it is always well attended.
